Her introduction and close relationship with Uwais and Nek Wan are opposed by Akhtar when he learns that Ayu was the wife of the late Tuan Baharom and inherited all his wealth. Akhtar is skeptical of Ayu's widow status due to his bitter experience with his ex-wife. Uwais is still young and needs a mother's attention.
