"From 1,000 Players to One Pick, Inside The Mets Draft Room | Searching For Tomorrow"
Overview
The MLB Draft lasts only two days. Finding the right player takes an entire year. Go inside the New York Mets scouting department as scouts travel across the country, spend months away from home, and evaluate more than 1,000 players in search of the organization’s next generation of talent. From early looks at high school and college prospects to final meetings inside the Draft room, every report, conversation and decision lead to one pressure-filled moment for the Mets: the 27th pick of the 2026 MLB Draft. With unprecedented access to the people responsible for building the future of the franchise, this documentary reveals the work behind selections like Nolan McLean, Carson Benge and AJ Ewing before following the Mets through their pursuit and selection of first-round pitcher Carson Wiggins. One year of work. Thousands of miles. One chance to get the pick right.
