Overview

A slice of authentic local history: the Walz Mill in the Swabian Alb, run by sisters Marie and Klara Walz. Marie is in charge of the household and the small farm, while Klara keeps a tight rein on the lumber mill, which is equipped with machinery worthy of a museum. But what looks like an idyll from the good old days is, for Marie and Klara, a tough struggle for survival.
