The Legends of Sportfishing series pays tribute to the men and woman whom throughout their lives enriched the sport of fishing through their passion and vision. Zane Grey was introduced to the sport in the late 1800’s and went on to help pioneer the development of big game rods and reels, working with Arthur Kovalovsky. Zane was the first man to ever land a 1000-pound marlin on rod and reel.
