Overview

Aana flees from the home of her alcoholic and abusive husband, Iorim, and goes to stay with her brother Teoti and his extended family. The family listens to Aana's story and provides her with support. Iorim begins attending AA after being visited by an old high school friend and asks Aana to forgive him and to return home. The film focuses on intimate partner violence and alcohol use disorder in Kiribati.
