Overview

In the early 80s, the rural town Rättvik in Sweden, became the new California and ended up on the world map of skateboarding. Skateboard professionals from California traveled to the small town and during some hot summers spectacular airborne tricks were developed that laid the foundation for modern skateboarding. 40 years later, the past is brought to life due to a peculiar finding in the Swedish forest. 10-year-old Hedda suddenly finds herself in the center of action, and for her this becomes a stepping stone towards her dream; to take place among a new generation of young talented skateboarders in the world.
