Overview

Documentary by journalist and filmmaker Dave Clement follows the story of a group of indigenous people from the Grassy Narrows First Nation reserve, about 80 kilometers northeast of Kenora, Ontario. In December 2002, they took up a fight to protect their traditional lands from a multinational forestry corporation. They started a blockade that would become the longest- standing in Canadian history.
