Almere is home to the first transgender crossing in Europe. As easily and without thinking as people walk the transgender path, transgender people should be part of our society as a matter of course. But for many trans people, the step to who they really are has often not been so effortless or obvious. And still there are trans people who do not dare to make the step. In this documentary, four trans people tell how their path to being themselves went and what it has done to them, now that they can be themselves.
