In a forest, a child of about eight years old is leaning over the corpse of a bird. He touches it with the tip of a stick, poking at it without really paying attention. Tired of this, he stands up. At that moment, a thick mist rises from the ground and surrounds the child. Worried, he tries to get away from it, but it catches up with him. As he flees, feathers sprout from his skin. He ends up being engulfed by the fog. Snow begins to fall. The child then emerges from the mist. He walks serenely, his body covered in black feathers. He finds the bird's corpse. He kneels on the ground next to the dead bird. He takes it in his hands and stares at it calmly. Fade to white. Appearance of the haiku: Already I imagine it falling on my corpse: the snow.
