Overview

The limited express "Hashidate," operating in northern Kinki, uses JR West's 183-series and 287-series trains and the Kitakinki Tango Railway's KTR8000-series cars. This journey takes you from Kyoto to Amanohashidate on the 183-series. Starting from Kyoto Station, the "Hashidate No. 1" passes through the scenic Hozukyo Gorge and tranquil countryside along the San'in Main Line, arriving at Fukuchiyama. From there, it continues north on the Miyafuku Line of the Kitakinki Tango Railway, reaching Miyazu Station, where the train changes direction.
