Marek is put on duty at a desolate border post in the middle of a dense forest. Only those who have a pass are allowed to pass the barrier blocking the road. A married couple with a few-year-old daughter turn up at the post. The man does not have a pass for himself and the child. However, he does not agree that his wife should go on alone. He tries to convince Mark to turn a blind eye and let them walk together. Taken to the extreme, he decides to nomadise with his family at the barrier.
