The films narrative revolves around Maltese folk music, ‘Għana’, and musicians, ‘Għanejja’ with underlying themes of the Maltese subconscious. The elements of the film are transmitted through a technical and social/cultural voice on Għana and visions of Għanejja and of the Maltese landscape and psyche."
