Overview
Following the documentary about the role played by the Belgian government in the murder of the first elected Prime Minister of Congo, Histories now focuses on the 'communist' Lumumba. Because Lumumba appealed for Soviet help during the height of the Congo Crisis and was highly critical of the activities the UN was carrying out in his country, he was quickly portrayed in the West as a dangerous communist.
