Overview
War and war, dream and reality, images and sounds of presence and absence condensed into a dream sequence that is as real as it is true, and as true as it is real. Drumbeats on distant hills, but where are the soldiers? Who is Little Hand, what does he write, who writes, who washes, and how long can all this be washed? (The film was inspired by the 1985 collection entitled "The Beliefs of Four Palóc Villages" in the collection of the Hungarian Museum of Ethnography.)
