Overview
This is the first short I made to teach myself filmmaking waaay back around 2000. Third World Newsreel lent me a miniDV camera and some sound equipment and sent me out to make a short as cheaply as possible. One requirement: everyone on the crew had to be immigrant/POC and new to film production. We shot this over two days. Budget: $240 Non-actors, volunteer crew. Shot on miniDV tape and edited on FCP. Premiered at the Asian-American International Film Festival in New York.
