Overview

On October 5, 2004, firefighters received a call about a fire in an apartment in the Bellvitge neighborhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Upon discovering the bodies of two women, they quickly alerted the Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan police), who found the victims bound, gagged, and with multiple stab wounds. They soon determined that the victims were two trainee officers of the National Police Corps who had been murdered.
