Overview
It’s 1985 in Kilpisjärvi, Finland, and Andrea is about to embark on the longest paddling event in the world: the Arctic Canoe Race, an epic six-day, 531-kilometre journey down the river that forms the border between Finland and Sweden, ending in the Gulf of Bothnia. In this animated documentary, former Australian whitewater champion Andrea recounts her victory in the race – a story of endurance, of overcoming injury and, most of all, of adventure.
