For years, he laid in state at Auman’s Funeral Home in Reading, Pennsylvania – as generations told of visiting the funeral home to catch a glimpse. Then in the Fall of 2023 – a goodbye parade was held, followed by a week of final public viewing before being laid to rest and his true identity revealed. It’s an event that gripped the city and captured national and international attention.
