Overview
Documentary film of a father writing letters to his father after he passed away. The letters tell the story of the days spent conducting Air Evacuation Missions while serving in the US Air Force during the Iraq & Afghanistan war. The letters were read to his 9 year old son many years later when he was old enough to understand. It also captures the story of the young boy's grandfather time spent in the US Army supporting the Korean war. A story only told through research interviews. "A missed opportunity for father and son, told to the grandson."
