Overview
In Littoral Formations, Raffaela Naldi Rossano presents her archive of footage shot with her Mini DV Sony camera as a child (1996–2003). Reflecting on these film diaries, the artist investigates the relationships between memory, artistic gestures, and automatic ways of composing space through moving images. Her Mini DV archive can be seen as a proto-Instagram storytelling of a young girl growing up in southern Italy in the 1990s and early 2000s.
