A personal, first-person documentary short in which director Larissa Lacerda reflects on growing up as the daughter and sister of lesbian women in Bahia in the 1980s and 1990s. Through a sensitive cartography of memories, she traces how the silence and invisibility surrounding her family’s lesbian experiences shaped her life and relationships. Centered on her mother’s journey from a heteronormative marriage to embracing love with women, the film weaves intimate family moments and everyday scenes to explore how affects, disobediences and acts of resistance traverse generations. By making visible narratives often erased within both society and broader LGBTQ+ movements, the film foregrounds lesbian lives, love, and liberation against the backdrop of heteronormative erasure.
