Overview
An autoethnographic documentary with a social focus that seeks to offer a more transparent, human, and authentic view of the reality of transfeminine people. Through the life stories of four transfeminine individuals who position themselves in dissent from the gender binary, and who come from different sociocultural backgrounds and diverse life paths, the film gathers their reflections on their processes of identity construction, their relationships with their bodies, and their feelings and ideas about femininity, as well as the ways they confront transphobia. The aim is for us to be known on our own terms, and for this understanding to help dismantle the stereotypes that persist about us—stereotypes that prevent us from being treated with the same equality and respect as everyone else.
