Overview
My short film Godspeed follows the brief of a non-linear narrative, employed to explore the divergent lives of the two main characters and to capture the ephemeral, bittersweet nature of the teenage years. My intention is to depict two opposing personas, a pessimistic student whose life is engulfed by the pressures the school system (Ruby) and her optimistic confidant (Maya) whose role is to encourage Ruby to embrace a “carpe diem” outlook.
