Overview
‘Areas of Search’ is a 16-minute conceptual and poetic science fiction film set in an alternative world. The story follows a woman's soul searching for her remains in her surreal, fractured town, where it seems that all women have been murdered. We hear her voice, but we do not see her body, as the work explores questions such as what happens to a town when the victims' bodies are not found, and burial rituals cannot take place.
