Overview
Commissioned for the 2007 Berlinale, THE ROAR OF LIONS was filmed during the winter of 2005 on the frozen lake in the Grunewald forest near Berlin, bringing into dialogue documentary footage and the visualization of places, people and sounds through the narrator's voice: "Will our minds be inhabited by parallel worlds?".There is the world of the image, with its subtle chromatic variations, and the world opened up by commentary in off.
