In collaboration with several Yogyakarta filmmakers, Belakang Hotel (Behind The Hotel) was produced for approximately 6 months. Starting from story ideas, research, inviting local filmmakers, to distribution. Produced since 2014 and launched in early 2015, this film caught the attention of Sultan HB IX. After watching this film, Sultan HB IX urged the city and district governments not to arbitrarily issue hotel permits in Yogyakarta. After being broadcast on the Watchdoc Documentary Youtube channel, so far it has been watched 1.9 million times. The film tells about the city of Yogyakarta as a tourist destination which encourages the establishment of many hotels to serve tourists. The establishment of the hotel has a negative impact on the community, one of which is the struggle for drinking water. As a result of the establishment of the hotel, the well dried up which resulted in the suffering of the people.
