Overview
Marvel's Agent Carter follows Peggy Carter in the years after World War II as she navigates a world that underestimates her abilities while secretly carrying out dangerous missions. Working for the Strategic Scientific Reserve, Peggy balances routine office duties with high-stakes espionage, often partnering with Howard Stark's loyal butler, Edwin Jarvis. Set in 1946 and later 1947, the series explores the origins of organizations and characters that would shape the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Blending spy thriller, action, mystery, and period drama, Agent Carter highlights Peggy's intelligence, courage, and determination as she fights threats that others fail to see while proving herself in a male-dominated world. The series ran for two seasons and stars Hayley Atwell reprising her role from the Captain America films.
