Overview

A personal documentary about a journey to Ukraine during the ongoing war. Through the filmmaker’s own impressions from the trip and a recurring famous Ukrainian poem, the film portrays the expectations and fears surrounding an encounter with a country where everyday life and catastrophe coexist. Through these reflections, a story emerges about how the reality of a country at war changes when it is no longer viewed from a distance.
