"Signs in the dust"

Overview

It is a fragile lantern held against the fading dusk of Morocco’s souk day, illuminating the rhythms of a world on the verge of disappearance. Each frame gathers the murmurs of bargaining voices, the gestures of exchange, the silent codes of belonging, a choreography of survival etched into the fabric of the lower classes. The film is a vessel carrying the soul of a practice that may soon dissolve, yet lingers in the lens as a living archive of Moroccan society.
