Overview
A group of elders from Kibbutz Metzer and the village of Maysar, whose lives have been marked by wars, attacks, fear, and crisis, also carry within them another memory: rare moments of neighborliness, compassion, and human solidarity. Now, in the twilight of their lives, they set out on one final mission: to save what remains of the trust built between the two communities, and to pass it on to their grandchildren. Between painful memories and fragile hope, the film follows an intimate and powerful journey of people determined to reconnect the next generation before it is too late. It is a story about borders, fear, and loss, but above all, about the human possibility of choosing closeness over distance, and hope over despair.
