Overview
“Scapes” is a vibrant exploration of abstract ecosystems, blending collage animation and stop-motion techniques to craft surreal, textured worlds. Built from scanned fragments of iridescent papers, checkered patterns, and tactile materials, the work transforms everyday textures into vivid, otherworldly landscapes. Each scene invites viewers to journey through layers of color and motion, where isolated elements feel intricately connected. Through a combination of dynamic animation and tactile stop-motion, “Scapes” blurs the boundaries between organic and constructed, evoking a sense of wonder, discovery, and timelessness within its richly layered realities.
