"Everybody comes to the game of life, gets a hand"
Overview
The film Changá or Dubbelspel takes a look at the lives of a number of Antillean/Caribbean Dutch people in the Netherlands. The viewer gains insight into how they use the philosophy of the game domino to find their way around the Netherlands. The film takes the viewer into a rhythm of the philosophy of the domino game: how do people react to what life assigns them? How do they move within what is possible? What initiatives are they taking and where does that bring them? Everybody comes to the game of life, gets a hand and has to play it is a recurring message in Changá.
