Overview
Little Yanka fell seriously ill. He longed to see the sun, but the day was cloudy and stormy. Yanka's sister, Alenka, asked the sun to peek out from behind the clouds, but it didn't hear her voice. Then the birds and animals, who remembered her brother well—he had never harmed them—came to Alenka's aid. Together, they sang spring songs and awakened the sun.
