Overview
A claustrophobic, ahead-of-its-time Canadian independent thriller. Famous Dead People follows two strangers trapped together in a decaying elevator over a long holiday weekend. Unbeknownst to them, their desperate struggle for survival is being captured entirely by a security surveillance camera—turning their private psychological breakdown into a public spectacle, and granting them a twisted, posthumous fame they never asked for.
