Silas, bathed in the diffuse light flickering across the walls, embarks on an introspective and surreal journey. Through snatches of dialogue with an artificial intelligence, he explores the possibility of extraterrestrial life—an existential question that intrudes into his own home. Simultaneously, he grapples with addiction and an obsession with his own body. The camera captures fragments of his private world: an eye, a finger, a screen scrolling endlessly. This scrolling becomes a hypnotic, repetitive motion, until Silas lies motionless on his bed, suspended between the light of the screen and the darkness of the room.
