Overview
A stylized chronicle tracking the shifting fortunes and desperate ambitions of Troy and Tan-Yah, two fame-obsessed underachievers chasing success through a decade of changing cultural landscapes. Beginning in 1979, the narrative follows the duo through the 1980s as Troy falls deep into an investment pyramid scheme and eventually a degrading career trajectory, while Tan-Yah continuously cycles through failed musical personas, from punk vocalist to heavy metal artist.
