"Can You See The Reflection Clearly?"
Overview
Blackout follows a detective investigating a mysterious serial killer known as The Ringmaster. After waking alone in his car with a head injury and no memory of the previous night, he begins discovering disturbing evidence connecting him to the very crimes he is investigating. Unbeknownst to him, he suffers from dissociative identity disorder, with two distinct personalities sharing the same body: a detective determined to uncover the truth and a ruthless murderer desperate to remain hidden. Told entirely from the detective’s perspective, the film explores fractured identity, paranoia, memory loss and the battle for control over one’s own mind. As the two personalities become increasingly aware of each other, their conflict spirals into a desperate struggle for survival. But a mysterious third personality suggests that neither truly understands who is in control.
