Overview
In a confined Toronto takeaway, a courteous immigrant chef hides a violent past that resurfaces when racism, crime, and blackmail push him to the brink. Beneath his composed appearance lies a history shaped by violence, poverty, and torment. When a racist altercation with a local turns deadly, Rainbow’s repressed anger resurfaces. As he desperately tries to cover his tracks, he must contend with nosy customers, a susceptible health inspector, and an unrelenting police officer. When venomous drug cartel enforcers raid his kitchen, Rainbow is forced into a vicious struggle for survival. His nightmare deepens when a shadowy figure threatens to expose his secret, forcing him into another deadly crime. Caught between exposure and his own violent tendencies, Rainbow must decide how much of the man he once was remains—and how far he is willing to go. As his world unravels, he becomes both villain and vigilante.
