Overview
Conceived by the cultural department of the neuropsychiatric hospital, the project began as a work of fiction and evolved into a docufiction format that incorporates the actual voices of its protagonists. The story recounts an encounter between local children and patients from the psychiatric facility in a *tapera* (a makeshift shelter), exploring the quest for freedom, the act of play, and the dismantling of prejudices surrounding madness and institutional confinement. It was created with the active participation of the hospital’s service users and patients, institutional staff, local children, and other residents of the town.
