Overview
After drifting through space in hypersleep for 57 years, Lieutenant Ellen Ripley is rescued, only to discover that the moon where her crew first encountered the deadly Xenomorphs has now been colonized by terraformers. When communication with the colony, Hadley's Hope, is suddenly lost, a deeply traumatized Ripley is persuaded by Weyland-Yutani representative Carter Burke to return to the planet as an advisor. Accompanied by a squad of elite Colonial Marines, they embark on a heavily armed rescue mission—only to find themselves completely outmatched by a massive infestation of relentless alien predators.
