Overview

Since the 1960s, thousands of UFO landings, flyovers, and collisions have left behind scientific evidence for humans to study. In the field of UFOlogy, these mysterious events have become known as "trace cases." There are over 3,000 physical trace cases documented in more than 90 countries around the world. From impressions left in the dirt to scientific abnormalities that have yet to be explained, trace cases offer some of the most convincing evidence that UFOs exist. In this captivating program, director of the Center for Physical Trace Research Ted Phillips opens his files on some of the most beguiling and unexplained cases of his career, many of which have never been profiled on television before. Featuring interviews with UFOlogists and key eyewitnesses, ALIEN ENCOUNTERS offers an in-depth look yet at the evidence that suggests we are not alone in the universe.
