Overview

How many memories, meanings, emotions and traumas can be hidden in the memory of a simple object? In the windswept, black-and-white landscapes of Patagonia, a young man is haunted by thoughts of an old rusty shovel. A simple tool becomes a relay of the memory of the bloody traumas of history, forcing him to confront unpunished guilt and unforgivable violence. Escape from the past is impossible. The Film was created under the Paolo Sorrentino scholarship, but aesthetically and spiritually it is much closer to the work of Bela Tarra or Paul Rocha.
