Overview
Everything changes for the simple Wang when a mute stranger wanders into his remote mountain village looking for her missing brother. Wang's father is subsequently blinded, and the girl is blamed for the incident. Yet as the mute girl pines for Wang's affections, Wang is saddled with his own feelings for the beautiful Zhu Ling. Quingmin Jiang directs this tale of love and loss adapted from Xi Dong's award-winning novelette, Life Without Language.
