Overview
Singer-songwriter Lyle Lovett has never been better than in this live show that sees him backed by a 26-piece orchestra and a 16-piece band. Lovett sings several covers from his 2003 album "Smile," with singer-songwriter Randy Newman joining him on several songs. Trumpeter Mark Ishman is the other welcome guest, helping to bring the show to a rapturous close as Lovett shows off his considerable range by singing a number of gospel classics.
