Overview
Oddball movie maven Johnny Legend presents The Beatniks, an exploitation crime flick from 1960 filled with bongos, hep cats and reefer. After holding up a convenience store with his pals, Eddie Crane (Tony Travis) is discovered by a talent agent at a diner; now, he has a shot at fame and fortune -- but not if his buddies have a say in the matter. Paul Frees -- best known as the voice of Boris Badenov from "The Bullwinkle Show" -- directs.
