Overview
John Wayne appears in three classic shoot-'em-ups. In Angel and the Badman, the Duke's a gunfighter who must choose between the girl he loves (Gail Russell) and his guns. In Winds of the Wasteland, Wayne's a rugged Westerner who buys a stagecoach line to compete with the arrival of the telegraph. And in Mclintock, Wayne shows off his funny side (with Maureen O'Hara) in a comedy inspired by Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew."
