Overview
This video shows the necessary procedures for removing and replacing a heat pump compressor. The video is actual footage made on a compressor change-out. You get to "watch over the technicians shoulder" as he takes you through the process and procedures: refrigerant recovery, planning the tubing cuts, piping in the suction and liquid line filters, brazing the fittings, checking for leaks, evacuating the system and properly charging after start-up. A great training aid for the beginner tech.
