This production of Hoover Dam 2000 salutes one of man's greatest achievements and is dedicated to the workers who constructed this engineering wonder of the 20th century. Constructed from 1931-1935, the Hoover Dam was listed on the national register of historic monuments in 1981. By taming the Colorado River, it has provided power and life to the wild west for decades. Today the Hoover Dam stands as a monument to its builders and man's ingenuity in creating a world-class super power!
