The Battle of Fort Davidson, also know as the Battle of Pilot Knob, was the opening engagement of the Price’s Missouri Raid during the America Civil War. This engagement occurred on September 27, 1864, just outside Pilot Knob in Iron County, Missouri. 150 years later, this group of over 1000 reenactors came together in Pilot Knob, Missouri to reenact this pivotal battle.
