Overview

In January 1979, the Raufeisen family travels from one German state to the other to visit their sick grandfather. After crossing the GDR border, the father explains to his wife and two children that he is a "peace scout" and that they will be living in the GDR from now on. - Shortly before, Werner Stiller, a lieutenant in the MfS, had fled to West Germany. The defector revealed the names of State Security spies operating in the West to the Federal Intelligence Service. Some of them were warned in time and returned to the GDR in a hurry, like Armin Raufeisen.
